Audace e temerario

For over six blocks in downtown Soho,  New York is captivated with green, red and white lights, flags and decorations- all in celebration of the Italian culture.

Tons of food vendors were lined up, row by row, selling delicious treats.  Pictured is a chocolate cupcake with mixed Oreo icing.  One word- YUM

Besides desserts and pastries, beer gardens and drink stands were also commonly present.  I found the coconut Strawberry Daiquiri irresistible.

Carnival activities, such as rides, such as the ferris wheel and spinning tea cups were allowed us New York locals a chance to enjoy an "Audace e temerarious", Italian for bold and reckless, activity.

My friends and I found this a perfect way to spend Friday night.

Please note the Little Italy Fair runs through Mid September! I highly suggest checking it out!
